Km had a day off on friday, thus we took the long weekend to do a little exploration! No choice but to be stuck here since an overseas trip would never materialize any time soon. (till decemberrrr!!!) but I think there are still a lot of places on the island I haven't been to anyway! ^_^

Was at city hall so we decided to walk over to take the flyer! and there was the japanese occupation memorial building on the way so... *act tourist* 
Coincidentally army open house was held there, thus the two army vehicles above! which also enabled him to get the flyer tickets at a discount for NS men, so it's a bonus!

Next day wanted to walk on another bridge, the Henderson wave bridge! :> Went to vivo giant supermart to get some stuff for a little picnic there and look at this person: 
Okay it was too damn sunny we got outta there soon as we finished our lunch hahaha. I think I need to revisit this place in the night. Sure it'll be nicely lit up and windy! :>

In the night headed back to Shangri-la again to have buffet! There was sooooo much food! Chinese, malay, indian, western, dutch, HK, japanese etc oh gosh. tried a bit of everything. but mostly ate my favorites like satay, pizza and SUSHI :P ALSO, fondue fountain and mix in ice creamsssss *puke rainbow*

Had my first driving lesson today taught by jason's dad! It was pretty fun :D NOT THAT HARD WHAT >>> auto. Okay but I still haven't gotten to parking so we shall see.

Yesterday had a little date with yi'an before she flies off for taiwan tomorrow!


Before that when I was on the train with simin when we were on our way to vivo, we stepped in to a cabin full of people in costumes!!! We thought they were going for some cosplay event or having a birthday part or something, what with all the balloons. But turns out they were from GV celebrating their 20th anniversary!


Recently took up a tuition assignment somewhere near my house, like a few lanes away only! The student is a chinese student and explaining upper sec chem & bio in mandarin is seriously challenging v_v" so damn rusty already, feel kinda helpless when you cannot express yourself properly. but uh I think she can still unds me heheh. 

Initially the tutee's house was a 15 minutes walk away but recently my godfather just brought me the vintage bike he said he would gimme! :> He has a hobby of revamping vintage vehicles and I saw his really pretty vintage bike and asked if he could make me one lol. But so unfair lor his own ones are like way nicer than mine hahaha!


But still, mine's pretty right! the wooden weave basket is love hahaha! It comes with built in locks! but nah I don't think I'd be leaving it at train stations or parking anywhere for long term so its good. I feel like painting it...! but my papa says bicycles have to be spray painted? I thought I could literally wield a paintbrush and paint on my own D: Thinking of coral / teal / white? :> Hope they have those colors!! Shall get to it when I come back from taiwan!!! 

I'm going to taiwan with my parents and amy!!! Super excited, first time going there! Flying off on tuesday too and I haven't even packed for it whoops x_x 

Almost a month of vacation is up! So many things to do and so many people I still wanna meet >_<

One day after my brother's wedding! A day I could finally just stay home and rest. I think I must have spent the entire day playing with my animals - therapeutic much to just watch them go about their simple lives. Their behaviours can be so funny sometimes! 
There were so many fresh roses everywhere during the wedding reception! I was so tempted to take one and stick into my hair, or take them all home. but I resisted and took just one back for the hammies to nom! Supposedly a tasty treat for them I think!!!

But first, I came home to find THIS: 



TWO FATSOS STUCK AT THE ENTRANCE. not sure if they are fighting for the rights to that spot or actually enjoying the taupok. Either of them always like to sleep in the tunnel or at the entrance so that the other cannot climb to the second floor where the food usually is. Their squabbling squeaks are so cute :3

Went with km to have Sakae buffet!!! :D I think I miss out a lot during sakae buffets because I'm not really a sashimi person. but I love love chawanmushi, and basically sushi...! love my tuna and california handrollsss. So satisfying! My eating speed is like, half of his.

Gown fitting my dajie! :> She's going to europe for her pre-wedding shoots soon, I'm sure the pictures will be gorgeous *_* 
Choosing your dresses can be quite mind boggling because there's so many pretty designs to choose from! Definitely will have one to suit your liking. This is just one rack out of several? which doesn't include the colored gowns, where there's an even wider variety! I love love the white ones with lace designs and those with a corset shoe lace back! :O Think dajie's gonna get something like that! Am not exactly one for shiny crystals. maybe not yet ;p


I realize most of the above pics have been instagrammed so they appear as mega huge square pictures! Looks kinda nice on blog leh??? since my column is narrow!

Met up with daphne, yi'an & chanel to collect our H&M/ taka vouchers from the gushcloud office! wheeee :) yi'an succumbed and joined gushcloud in the end ahahaha! then we headed to orchard for some shopping! Used up my $20 voucher, which sponsored for a dress and some accessories but it's still rewarding! :D

Much anticipated meet up with the squad girls :))))) also for abelated birthday celebration for daphne! We had met up early to customize a cake for her at the icing room! They made me to the icing words, stress much! But it turned out well, and our cake was pretty with red hearts, pink pearls, rainbow flowers and some little ducklings hahaha!
Then we headed to orchard central to eat at Flam's! They honestly have really awesome thin crust pizzas there!!! Less selection than timbre, but I think theirs is still way nicer! Can cut the pizza to suit your liking, we cut into normal rectangles. Yi'an had to be special and cut them into triangles lolol. 

Then we headed to cold stone creamery for some desert! Somehow felt very sick of the desert halfway through though? which is unusual! Perhaps its too sinful lol. I prefer the simple ice cream chefs with just brownie mix in!!!


/th brought us an exotic tasting cookie from the cookie museum! Thought really hard and long before I could decipher the familiar laksa taste o_o Who'd put laksa in a cookie?!! Passed by the shop recently with km and the sales assistant was damn enthusiastic in letting us try the different flavors!?? It's cool to try I think :D but I can't imagine anyone would buy a tin of one of those singaporean flavors (nasi lemak, ikan billis???) to eat normally?

Mom's day celebration on our side! We decided to just have a simple steamboat meal at home since we didn't wanna squeeze with the crowds dining out. 


Hmmm. I think I should remind myself to remind the family to take a group photo the next time everyone's together ^_^

After dinner we watched teevee together! Some mark lee ghost movie, damn hilarious please HAHA. 

So km & I were sitting on one side of the table and amy + travis on the other. Amy was drinking her yakult and km & I were like Y U NO BUY VITAGEN!!!! then she and travis were like oh bitch pls yakult is way better. So we called on the family across the living room to vote and dajie obviously chose vitagen. Then we ask kor and he chose yakult, probably for the sake of fun only to tie the vote I'm sure. so we asked mom since it was mom's day and she was like VITAGEN ( ^_^ ) v 

Then travis suddenly said, ACTUALLY............. vitagen also not bad la, really. Then amy was like WAH you change side so fast hor, very smart hor. AHAHAHAHA laugh die us. 

Then at midnight dasao rescued a holland lop bunny from around outside our house among the grass patch! It was really skinny with very matted and dirty fur! We gave it a quick cleanup and my dad tried to snip off the matted parts while I held the rabbit in place haha it was so darn funnyyy!

The fur matted till it was like a huge lump of thick hard cotton ball around the butt. then we weren't exactly sure if it was really fur, or a tumor or skin or?? But my dad very onz one, we cringed as he used the scissors to poke the parts bit by bit from the edge to test if it hurt. ----- *Poke* - bo dai ji - *SNIP* ----- so damn funny!!! then my mom was screaming and saying you think the rabbit will tell you if its pain!?? HAHA. When he was done he asked the rabbit for 5 dollars. so anyways all went well :>

She's soooooooooooooo cuteeeeeeeeeeee. She hops back to the cage on her own. And she eats A LOT. think she must have been starving out there for quite some time :( She's really lucky to not have been eaten up by the any one of the many cats who loiter around our street!!

So km wasn't invited to squad girls outing and isn't one to miss out on nice pizza, so I brought him back there lol! Shopped for mother's day gifts too! ^_^

So regarding the bunny..! Brought it to the vets today to just do a check because her neck was bald of fur. and turns out she does has fur mites like we suspected! So we got her treated and also brought her for grooming at the pet shop opposite the vets. and that pet shop groomers place was like an animal paradise!!!!!! ♡


I love this persian cat so muchhhh! So epic face! It looks so damn pissed. I was quite scared of it at first, but later on realised its just his face. Its really gentle and follows you around the store like a boss!! ^_^ And its so nice to strokeeeee he will close its eyes ahhhh he just pulled me a little over to the cat camp. I'm using his picture on whatsapp to replace the "are you effing kidding me" meme hehe!

Shopkeeper said he was abandoned >:( left outside their store in a cardboard box and was in a very bad state. the petshop fostered him so well! He's been the unofficial boss of the petstore ever since haha. along with one other cat, free to roam around! 



Then there were 4 chinchillas in the store! along with guinea pigs, bunnies and rabbits, in full glass view / open enclosures!!!


There were mice too wts. SO MANY MICE. EVEN MORE BABY MICE! with long tails skinny body and all! The shopkeeper said he liked mice??? Said they were very unified - and told us a story of how a group of them held one anothers' tails to form a rope/ladder and one mice climbed up!!! :O 

So currently the bunny has received treatment for her mites! Waiting for it to clear, and we already found an adopter! Gonna give her away soon :'( 



My hamsters have pretty rainbow bedding now!!!!! I like it so much leh. I hope they do too.

Shall end off with some kiko cuteness spammage.

Not sure if I want time to speed up or slow down.
Actually I guess time has its own way, it never changes pace.
Cause right now I wish finals would be over quick, yet I want to have enough time for revision.   

I was actually feeling unusually calm about everything, as I have been slowly checking off stuff on my to-do list each day. But right now I realise I am also moving really close to finals! Like, 3 weeks away!!!? 

Currently have one major essay due. After I complete that, then its revision and catching up all the way until May! 

Not panicking, but I have this bad habit, that I know what I should be doing, but I'm always guilty of digressing anyway. Supposed to wake up at 9am - but give myself extra 4 hours of snooze instead. ESPESH THIS. Hope that over the next few weeks I will have the willpower and sensibility to get myself back on track when I digress!

Today is KR day. 


Amidst all the IHEARTKR sentiments, I feel slightly guilty though. because I realize I have almost always put Kr as my last priority. I like KR. but I love my home much more. I find myself homesick so often that I think I probably wouldn't have survived alone overseas :/ 

Also. I love the readily accessible food supply at home too much. 

I feel like I have all the important people I need in my life around me already.

I struggle with my choices all the time. I'm already inherently extremely indecisive. and I dislike how I sometimes choose to submit to peer pressure, that sometimes I end up doing things I don't even want to do. 

Even as of now, I am in a dilemma over some stuff. URGH. Sometimes the problem is I don't even know what I want!

Successfully endured what I thought would be the worst week :) I was probably overreacting. I really go crazily emotional during that time of the month. Was angst about everything & had negative thoughts of which I was aware of but could not control! 

Anyway I cleared a lot on my list this week! :)))) Most awesome = no more labs for this semester!!! = super free! Guess that leaves me time to catch up on my skipped lectures and other assignments due! 

I have a lot of backlog D: shall just try to recall.

03/MARCH HAPPENINGS!

Recently just celebrated sinyi's birthday at timbre with Zeus (my pharm OG! ♥). It was my first time gng to the Old School branch. HELL, the flight of steps totally killed my thighs! plus it was a friday and I carried all my hall shit like laptop and school shit. Didn't want to stop during climbing cause I'd look weak, thighs were ultra tensed when I reached the top lol.


Sinyi so cuteeeeeeeee please she was touched to tears when we sang birthday song for her & surprised her with a cake! She said her friends had never done this for her in malaysia! Who would've thought this singaporean routine could move her so much, glad she really appreciated it yay ♥ Tried a lot of drinks that night. Whiskey is quite an acquired taste ew! My raspberry vodka tasted like cough medicine. and I conclude that drinking beer is like drinking dilute green tea. And all of this merely makes me sleepy, and slight facial numbness. MEH. if I had to choose something to drink, alcohol would be last! 

Also, went for gown shopping with the fam in preparation for my brother's wedding upcoming in May! It's gonna be like a grand!!! So excites even though it's not my wedding, but it's the first wedding in the fam :D think I'm pretty much decided on which gown to pick, but it shall remain a sekret! All I can say is, no blingbling for me thanks! 

Gymmed every week so far for 3 weeks haha! this week too busy & emo so I didn't gym. And I furiously nommed the entire large 150 GRAMS pack of maltesers in one night KMN!!!?

This week has got to be one of the worst of the year so far. Already a bad start to the week. Body clock screwed, can't get a good nights sleep. Time of the month making me angsty and emotional. Several graded assignments due. And this week happens to be the week I have two days of lab, especially the much hated LSM lab sheesh.
